Silly place for a pool!

The pool is on the 19th floor - it is salt water and it is freezing. Not to mention it is really small and there are only 6 lounge chairs! I had planned to spend the day there but lasted about 45 minutes. Between the water being really cold and the breeze going through it just wasn't pleasant.
I decided to just go for a walk about around the block. It's a big block and my destination was to end up in the ArtPark.

Had to stop for water within five minutes as the temp at street level was mid 30's and there was no breeze! These delicious sounding peanuts were at the checkout.

First time I have ever seen a Thai fire station, I wonder how these big trucks ever get through the traffic.

An open air school - would be very difficult for a student to sneak out the side or skip a class.

Looks like candy floss but I did not cross the road to really look into it.

When I researched spa's this place came up as highly recommended so when I happened across it I had to try a foot massage. So for an hour and a half my feet were pummeled with her hands and a wooden stick. Then she did my neck, shoulders and back.  Made an appointment to go back tomorrow for a thai massage and another foot massage as my feet feel so my better!

As I was having my tea I noticed these wires - what a tangled web!

Carried  on my walk and found the park - for the Thai people appearing to be so liberal they have a lot of things you cannot do in a park.

NO smoking, no littering, no fishing, no dogs, (odd cause I have seen one person walking a dog in a week) and no bicycles. It's a park but you can't do anything. I don't think fish could live in that yucky water !

Some views from pool this evening.
