Three towns, 2 markets - Mijas Costa, San Pedro, Marbella

On Wednesday (2/26/2020) I went to see the Mijas Costa market. It was much the same as the other markets but a few different stalls - didn't buy anything! I walked into the little town and then down to see the beach.

Today I was up early and on the road to San Pedro market - again, just looking! OMG..what's gotten into me!!  I think I shopped myself out in Thailand.

Lots of shoes, different styles and colours!

From here I drove to Puerto Banus and went to the Corte Inglis,  I was going to get some groceries .....after parking and walking around I decided that I mine as well go to Marbella, so having groceries in the car was not a good idea. Off I went! Finding parking is a huge hassle everywhere here. I knew where I wanted to go but my GPS could not find the parking lot so I arrived here. Had no clue where I was therefore the picture.

I made my way to the beach and walked along the promenade until I got to the tourist office where I got a map. I showed the guy the picture of the parking garage and he circled it on the map so I knew how to get back. The sandcastles are made by the guy sitting in the chair. Pretty amazing!!
I walked up the main area to get into the old town. It is lined with Dali sculptures - amazing!! The sun was in the way .....

Some pics of Dali sculptures:

Pretty amazing and awesome that they are just out there for all to enjoy!

Between the plaza and the old town there was a park with lots of things for kids to do as well as some beautiful tiled benches.

Humm, politically incorrect?

Old town Marbella

Interesting little stores, cafes and cobblestone narrow streets. Fourteen thousand three hundred steps and I am dog tired!
