Mijas Pueblo

"One of the jewels of the Costa Del Sol is the beautiful little village of Mijas Pueblo"

It really is a gem - everything is postcard perfect. I picked up the walking tour from the tourist office and it took me about four hours, twice the suggested time but in my defense that time is suggested for non window shoppers and non gelato eaters!

Cool ruins in the background.

Donkey rides - there's a sign from the Spanish Animal Welfare Department saying that it is humane that these donkeys carry people. It also explain what kind of donkeys they are, how the are fed and watered.

Bullring of course

Gorgeous eh!

Early settlers actually lived in cave houses

Another beautiful street

and another!

Catching rays

Obviously they either crawl out the roof or the other side but even driving away from that wall would be a challenge - for me anyhow.

View from the parking garage!

I was the least popular tourist there at four o'clock when I tried to   exit the parking garage and hadn't paid the ticket. Maybe there were signs in Spanish telling you what to do but nowhere did I see anything that said you had to pay before you got to the exit. I pressed the help button on the machine and a young women came out of the office screaming something at me .....gave her my Euro and she opened the arm!!! Humm..well now I know!
